1991 Peugeot 309 iXLS 1.6

Summary:

More for less

Faults:

The self-adjusting system for the rear brakes just never works.

Interior is frequently falling apart.

Needs many oil changes.

General Comments:

The bright side is, it's a darn good "semi-sports car". I have noticed that not many cars with bigger engines stand a chance when my 309's on her best!!

Handling is outrageous when you lower her and stiffen her up.

I have a 1991 Peugeot 309 GR, and I think it is actually pretty quick. Even 20 years later, it gives most new cars a run for their money at the green lights.
