2004 Citroen Picasso 1.8 16v

Summary:

Excellent choice for a family man. Recommended

Faults:

Nothing so far, only the gear knob worn out and replaced at a cost of 45 euros.

Front tyres wear out quite often.

General Comments:

The car has a spacious interior with a lot of storage compartments.

Huge boot (550lt). I can fit the family's baggage and baby trolley easily.

Comfort ride due to soft (but not loose) suspension and well designed seats.

Excellent all around visibility, car stereo and automatic air conditioning.

Average-good build quality.

2004 Citroen Picasso Trend 1.6 petrol

Summary:

Good value for money

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

Very roomy, very cheap, low costs to run.

It didn't have any problems at all so far (2 and a half years - 35000 km), but it could have better plastics.

Also, the paint is not of best quality.

A bit slow (the 1.6 petrol).

It has soft suspension which means it is comfortable in highways, but not on roads with turns.

Generally a good value for money.

2004 Citroen Picasso Trend 1.6 petrol

Summary:

Best value for money

Faults:

Nothing wrong so far. I own the car for about 9 months.

General Comments:

Picasso is a very good family car.

Lots of space for passengers and luggage.

Very comfortable and handles very well.

However it could have a stronger engine. I think that 1.8 version would be perfect.

I think it offers outstanding value for money for the size and equipment level. When I bought it there was a discount (2000 euros), which made it really a bargain.
