1997 Toyota Carina Classic 1.6i petrol

Summary:

One of the best cars in the world!!!

Faults:

Changed time belt after 100.000 km.

Bought new tires after 85.000 km.

General Comments:

Much more economical than handbook figures suggest, It consumes about 7 liters pr. 100 km, based on 4 years general driving.

Everything is original in the car, even the exhaust system and the brakes.

Its common to see 20 years old Carina's in original condition, driven more than 500.000 km.

Yes, one very reliable car.

1981 Toyota Carina E deluxe 2.0

Summary:

The Best Car In The World!!!

Faults:

There was some problem with the electrics the first week, but I got that sorted soon enough :)

I cleaned the exhaust right from under the car one day!

I broke booth front springs in a jump and that also took care of the forward bumper.

General Comments:

This car handled great and what ever you gave it, it always asked for more! I bought this car mainly to use it in rally and guessed it wouldn't last me the summer, but better yet Toyota proofed it is nr.1 one in car manufacturing and it lasted two years!

It is the best car I have ever had it is still running though my brother has it!

1993 Toyota Carina GLi 1.6

Summary:

Very good high performance car

Faults:

Nothing, except the central locks did not work when it was cold outside. Now it's OK.

General Comments:

My Carina has only the 1600 engine, it needs more power!! But it's OK.
