Faults:

Well.. I brought the Getz 1.1 GVS on 24th December 2008... But now after two years, I have the cooling warning light (blue) that comes on when I start my car, and then goes off after around 2 minutes when the car is heated up.

No problems with the engine.

Everything in the car is very good till now.

General Comments:

I'm a bit disappointed in the Hyundai dealers... They do not provide you with the comfort you actually expect... Well that's all, but I still love my Getz.

And one of the worst things I have faced, is that I bought the car in 2008, and Hyundai stopped the production of the car the next year.

Well Hyundai did a big mistake by stopping this model... The best Hyundai Getz.

Faults:

1) Very cheap interior design.

2) Air conditioning system is not so effective.

3) A bit higher fuel consumption for a small car of its size. But I love its power!

General Comments:

1) I love the power it yields.

2) It roars with racing exhaust. Can even beat Suzuki SX4 without a sweat.

3) Handles very good with Indian roads, in-spite of its low ground clearance.

4) Fuel consumption is not a problem if you really consider its performance.

5) I have done 140kmph on my 1.3l GLS. Could do much better, but ran out of road because I live in a hilly area.

Faults:

Extreme poor dealer service. The car went for the routine 2nd service, but came back to me covered in dust. Guess washing & cleaning isn't involved in the free service!!!

General Comments:

My Potomac Blue coloured GETZ looks the sexiest & best amongst the other car, no matter what angle you see it from. It is a stunning car. Haven taken the delivery since May 2005, not a single problem (or sneaky noises) have erupted from the car.

The car is extremely spacious. My Dad who is well over 6 ft. tall finds the rear splendidly comfortable. Infact he finds it to be more comfortable than the Mercedes E-class he once travelled in. It is a very practical car with lots of storage space & chubby holes & easily carries a 2 litre bottle of water!!! The interiors are bright & airy. The air con is the best available & chills the cabin in less than 5 minutes.

The car has wonderful performance. Infact I have myself touched 120 km/hr. on NH 17 & overtaking other slow cars is a brezee even with the aircon on. The engine is as smooth & refined since the day we took the delivery. The car is so silent that we can hear the wind blowing outside, even when the windows are rolled down.

The fuel efficiency is slightly on the lower side. I averaged around 9-10 km/ltr. & 12-14 km/ltr. in am chi MUMBAI with dense traffic & highway respectively, but this is a small compromise when compared to all the positive attributes the car has.

The car is a stylish, has decent build quality, exemplary space & is a true classic small car on wheels.

I have serviced it at PHOENIX HYUNDAI, Sion, but am a little disappointed with their service as they delivered the car without washing.

Overall I love my LITTLE MAESTRO & wish to have more happy & joyful moments with it. I HOPE YOU DO TO!!!

Faults:

The car gives certain obnoxious sounds when driven over rough surfaces.

I wish it had a turbocharger or a supercharger for scintillating performance.

General Comments:

My Getz is a monument on 4 wheels.

It looks sexy in metallic Potomac blue though red & black also look wonderful. It has a superb engine, magnificent comfort for all people, reasonable performance & fuel consumption & is outstanding value for money.

I especially adore the rear "bum" styling which is clearly the most sexiest part of the car.

I have done 12000 kms. in the car without any hiccups obtaining around 12kpl in the city.

The more I drive my Getz the more love I get of owning it!

Faults:

The car has some squeaking sounds.

General Comments:

The car is a fantastic. It is perfect for all age groups. It is superbly comfortable, reasonably frugal & exceptional value for money.
