1991 Toyota Starlet XL 1.0

Summary:

Great small city car

Faults:

Changed the brake pump since it was broken at around 70,000 km.

Changed the piston ring at around 80,000 km as smoke came out from the exhaust.

Changed the front links as well as tie rod.

The engine was too small for intercity driving so as the engine power.

General Comments:

This car was quite OK for inner city driving as it was easily parked and comfortably driven.

A very economical car as it only consumed 1 liter gasoline for 12 km driving with air conditioning on.

Sufficient for two people, but really small for more than 3 people.

The model was attractive and funny.
