2001 Volkswagen Bora 1.9 Tdi 90 bhp

Summary:

Quality ride and economical

Faults:

None so far.

General Comments:

Car a bit sluggish on acceleration, but cruises well on motorways. Enough acceleration when you need it though. Steering and handling precise and light, a sheer pleasure in town.

Comfortable seating on journeys and solid feel with good ergonomics. Good level of equipment, although my model doesn't have trip computer which is a shame. When using lights in daytime, there is no dashboard symbol to tell you they're on.

Fuel economy is very good, around 17.5 Km/Ltr on motorway and urban.

I had a Skoda Octavia which was stolen. In my opinion the Skoda's got more "presence and grace" with a big car feeling and a better cruiser, but the Bora is lighter, smaller and better equipped.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
