Ford Windstar Reviews from Mexico
1995 Ford Windstar GL 3.8
A high cost and high risk investment
The head gasket blew at 104000 miles.
The head gasket blew without any reason.
I didn't overheat the engine.
The van had a cold thermostat and the mileage was poor.
When I changed for a hotter one, the mileage improved but the gasket blew.

1997 Ford Windstar LX 3.8 V6
Well-made, reliable minivan
Brakes seem to fail rather often. Speed sensor had to be replaced.
It has held up pretty well even though it goes through a lot of abuse. We are very pleased with its quality and reliability.
