2003 Citroen Saxo VTS 1.4i petrol

Summary:

Quick little fellow

Faults:

We had a flat tire once, but that's all.

General Comments:

It's a nice looking car with the VTS kit on it to give it some muscle. It handles very well in corners and once you've flatten out the pedal it just keeps accelerating. Tough suspension, but stil comfortable. the braking power is immense.

1997 Citroen Saxo VTR 1.6

Summary:

Little pocket rocket, especially if the engine doesn't suffer idling problems

Faults:

Idling problems at low temperatures. When the engine is still cold, it tends to stall. The spark plug cables have been changed, but this hasn't solved the problem.

The radiator was changed, because the cooling block was corroded.

The first owner had some problems with the brake disks, the rear disks have been changed.

General Comments:

I really like the Saxo VTR. Mine is a little bit tuned, with a sports filter and a ECU 'manipulator' for more torque in mid rev sections. Great stuff, and it's quite cheap to run!

Unfortunately, it's quite cramped inside. As a tall driver you wouldn't prefer the Saxo to buy, for small families there are better choices.

1999 Citroen Saxo VTS 1.6 16v

Summary:

Fastest car in its price range

Faults:

Just a loose wire that made my car go mad at approximately 2500rpm.

General Comments:

Handling could be a bit better maybe when lowered an inch or two, this could improve the cornering.

This car is fast and thanks to company's like Cituning it can go even faster (up to 250bhp!!)
