Cheap and great
Bought this car for 700 euros, and it has been worth every dime. It had no love from me, only replaced the engine oil, in all this time, and yearly MoT test. Nothing went wrong except a worn ball bearing.
Took the car twice on holiday from Holland to Spain and the South of France.
Driven it like madman. I put the car away when the engine started, to hold back in the first minute when started.
This Opel Kadett 4 does not rust very easily, and is way better than the Lanos.
Great car to start with. The seats are great. You have great grip on the road when cornering.
The 90 hp engine has got enough power. It reaches 180 kmh.
The car does not rust fast, but be aware of the front bar above the bumper, there is steel I profile, which keeps water; better drill a leak hole, and paint it.
Great space in the back when the seats are down. Fuel consumption is fare; 550 km a tank, driving quick.
You can buy these cars now for like 300 euro with pretty low mileages. If you don't have much money, this is probably your best choice.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
