1996 Fiat Bravo 1.6 16v

Summary:

Best beginners car ever!

Faults:

About nothing, had to replace one shock absorber in seven years.

General Comments:

My first car, and I absolutely loved it, matter of fact, I still do. I have had my Fiat Bravo for seven years now, and haven't had one major repair. We have pretty tough winters here, but the Bravo always starts first time. I've traveled to Berlin in one straight drive (800km), and a few days later, the same way back, and never had any problems.

The only thing wrong with it that I can think of, are the doorhandles, they were covered in rubber, but the cold winters here crack the rubber, and they have peeled off. But they are not broken, they work fine, just don't look nice anymore, but the car is 14 years old...

1997 Fiat Bravo S 1.4

Summary:

Nice looking chick with no brains

Faults:

My front shockers ran dead, after 4 weeks after I got it. My car was jumping on the highway.

The exhaust pipe broke after driving 500 kilometres. I have to change it, but I seem to have run out of money.

The car makes a lot of inconvenient sounds, especially in the back of the car, when I am driving on a pavy road.

The clutch is not working all right, hard to get it in the right gear sometimes.

My airbag is defective since the a car-thief has broken my car-window and stolen my radio.

General Comments:

The car used to be quick, but since my exhaust pipe has gone down it is really slow.

Extremely nice design (the reason I bought the car), good controls on the road, and... hmm nice design.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No
