The perfect MPV
Some engine problems at the beginning. Dealer fixed all problems within 2 hours.
Too bad this is the last Matra as it is the mother of all MPV's.

Best of the MPVs
No problems so far.
Looks better than any other MPV.
Very comfortable and fast family car, especially for long trips and holidays.
The engine (3 liter V6 24 valves) is definitely an improvement over previous models; it has much more power and torque. Fuel consumption is a bit of a problem; the engine is very thirsty!
The automatic electronic gearbox also is much better than its predecessor.
The car handles very well and is very stable even at top speed.
For a private owner this car may be expensive because of the fuel consumption.
The Grand Espace allows you to take incredible amounts of luggage with besides the members of your family.
