1998 Acura Integra GSR 1.8

Summary:

Reliable, Fun, Sporty Car

General Comments:

Nothing has gone wrong with the car. I just replaced the timing belt and water pump and the car runs like new. I really love Hondas/Acuras and how reliable they are. I love the mpg it gets and the sport car performance you get from it. I know it's not the fastest thing on the road, but it certainly feels quite at home on it. The windshield gives you a perfect view of the road. The transmission works beautifully. Entering Vtec is always fun.

1998 Acura Integra GS 1.8L Inline 4

Summary:

Best car I've ever driven..

Faults:

The only issue that I've had with my car so far is the clutch. A piece of the clutch broke off and was bouncing around between the clutch disc itself and the pressure plate... Obviously I drive this car pretty hard and abuse it a bit.

General Comments:

This is a GREAT car for a first car or a second, third, fourth... You get the point... This car is much faster and better handling than I thought it would be. Tires spin in second and sometimes third gear while speed shifting, GREAT handling at high speeds, comfortable while driving, and not to mention sexy as hell. I plan on putting a lot of money into my car with after market parts such as a vtec engine swap, turbo, hi-flow cataltyic converter, short ram intake, cat-back exhaust, and so on. This is a great car, and pretty powerful for its size.

Only thing I can say is if your as into the car as I am and want more horsepower... Swap to a DC2 (Type R) or a H22 (Stock Prelude)

1998 Acura Integra LS 1.8 DOHC

Summary:

If it were a woman, I'd marry her!

Faults:

None that I can remember.

General Comments:

I bought this car brand new as a 20 year old kid. I ran it raw for four years and it kept coming back for more! It was the only car I've owned that I didn't want to replace. Even the LS had plenty of power and the tires would always chirp going into 2nd gear. I got it to 135mph on a stretch of highway with no problems. But the most important feature was the safety factor. That car saved my life twice in two serious accidents. The last one totaled it. Although it was totaled it still drove off the site, frame was bend, though. I just bought a '01 GS-R and can't wait to sit behind the wheel again. This time I will respect it much more!

1998 Acura Integra LS 1.8L

Summary:

Fun, reliable, sporty, stylish, and cheap!

Faults:

The paint on the roof and trunk is noticeably fading, but surprisingly, the rest of the cars paint still looks new.

Sometimes I hear a popping noise coming from the back. I think it may need new struts.

General Comments:

I bought the car at low retail price from a dealer with numerous modifications. It came with a Greddy cat-back exhaust, DC sports air charger, Altezza tail lights, white ICW racing rims, and performance tires.

My car is red with white rims which makes it stand out and look very unique.

I constantly red-line the car around town just to hear the exhaust and air charger rumble. It seems to have no problem whatsoever being driven very hard.

It has nice pick-up, but I would not mind more power (comes with only 140hp stock).

This car is not even close to being a race car stock, so it's funny to see all the teenagers around town trying race these things against muscle cars.

For what I paid for the car, I wouldn't complain even if I had some minor problems.

I would highly recommend this car.

1998 Acura Integra GS 1.8L

Summary:

Speed demon

Faults:

Seats came with a lot of wear, but that was understandable considering there were two previous owners.

No other major problem with the car.

General Comments:

I love the car, but I do wish it had a little more power in it though.

Interior is very well planned out, but the back seat in the coupe is not very comfortable due to its size.

Handles well at high speeds.

Exterior is well planned out, nice body and lines, a very sporty coupe with many aftermarket parts made for it.
