1979 Buick Riviera 350 V8

Summary:

Though I'm probably not the demographic Buick was thinking of with the 79 Riviera, I love it.

Faults:

When I initially purchased my Riviera, the rear coil springs had been clipped, the pneumatic shocks had been deactivated, and the wheels had been swapped for minis- thus, if more than two people were in the car, it would drag along the ground.

Also as a result of the low-riding, the starter had been knocked clear off the flex-wheel.

The vinyl is pulling away at the edges- but still in OK condition.

General Comments:

The car is in great condition inside and out- even the engine is clean.

The 350 purrs.

The upholstery has been likened (by my friends) to the inside of a really expensive coffin..

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
