1984 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible 410 V8

Summary:

A fine and funky ride

Faults:

The dash board electric for the wipers and A/C require a special touch.

The trunk closing assembly broke.

The back driver side window doesn't track well.

After many years, the seats are worn badly.

Some difficulties in closing the top.

General Comments:

I love it.

The 410 V8 is a dream. I have over 80000 miles on it, and it purrs like a kitten.

I take it in for a tune up every 6 months, and all they need to do is change the air filter and the oil.

I've cruised all over the south with it, and it turns heads wherever I go. It's a very comfortable ride.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

About the back windows going up and down on your 1984 Eldo Covertible. If you can twist your arm enough and work your way down to the electric motor. Then tap it with a small hammer, a few good hits work for me on my '84's rear window. It is tricky, but it will work every time

Oh by the way, now that these cars are 20 years old, you can get antique car insurance. It cost me $97.00 a year for mine.

Good Luck,

PS: Have had my all white '84 for over 15 years, plus I have a '55 Chevy Belair Sport Coupe.
