2014 Chevrolet Equinox LT 2.4 Ecotech

Summary:

Near perfect ownership

Faults:

Battery and positive cable end.

Other than that, routine maintenance and oil changes.

Tires and 4 wheel brake job at dealership before purchase.

General Comments:

Engine performance is decent and smooth for a 4 cylinder. Noise level is a bit high, typical on a GM 4. Fuel mileage is good. Reliability is great.

Ride and comfort are more like a regular car and not an SUV/crossover.

Seating can get uncomfortable on long trips.

Fit and finish are very good. Not a fan of the seat materials compared to the usual cloth used in older GM interiors. Dash layout is nice.

Definitely recommend if you're looking for a used crossover. Good value. Why pay more for a Toyota or Honda when this vehicle is just as good.

We drove it a pretty good distance in the 3 years owned and it performed excellent, including several trips from Florida to Massachusetts.

Trading it in on a used Buick Lacrosse as everyone seems to being trending towards crossovers. I like sedans much better. Get em before they're extinct.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
