2000 Chevrolet Metro 1.0

Summary:

Reliability and economy at a bargain price

General Comments:

This car gets about 45 to 50 Miles per gallon. I have had NO problems. It is impressive for such inexpensive transportation.

I have the same car, with over 80,000 miles. I have had absolutly NO problems with it. However, recently, the lights won't turn on, and require me to turn the switch on and off repetitively. Also, the parking brake sometimes slips out of gear if done too quickly.

2000 Chevrolet Metro Coupe 1.0

Summary:

The car takes me where I need to go

Faults:

When I first bought the car:

1 - The back seats rattled a lot when the car was moving.

2 - The fuel gauge did not operate.

3 - The glove compartment would open up during the trip if it wasn't slammed shut.

I got number 1 and 2 fixed right after I bought it.

I've lived with number 3 since I never go into the glove compartment and can just slam the thing shut if I have to.

General Comments:

I like my Metro. It takes me to where I want to go and doesn't take up much space. I rarely have passengers or much cargo, so there is plenty of space.

This is a good car for a patient, driver who doesn't mind hearing others sound their horns. If you plan ahead and give yourself an extra ten minutes, you'll never feel rushed.

Summary:

This little sucker will go when you push it!

Faults:

Nothing, it's brand new!

General Comments:

I got a great deal on this car, I got it for 8000 dollars! Brand new car from Chevy for 8000! I walked in, told them I was looking into a gas saver and an hour later I drove off the lot with a new car that's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I thought this car would have no power but hey, this little sucker will get up and go when you push it. A/C is really cold, the sound system kicks ass.

I own a 2000 Chevy Metro. I can honestly say the car is pretty good on gas. I mean I work about an hour away from where I live and when I fill up the tank, I can get back and forth to work for about 2 weeks. I honestly thought the Chevy Metro was not going to be that great of a car. But there is one thing that would make my car absolutely perfect, and that would be putting a CD player into my car.

Summary:

Great car for the price

Faults:

Nothing so far.

General Comments:

Nice car for a good price. To me it's just as good as a Honda and I know my previous Geo model was just as reliable as a Honda. I'm so glad that I have the Chevy model though cause the Suzuki twin looks so bland and has nothing to offer.
