1994 Chevrolet Tracker

Summary:

Reliable, cheap, went everywhere!

Faults:

Rear defrost stopped working.

Clutch replaced at 286,000km.

Starter replaced at 320,000km.

Windows extremely hard to roll up.

Hard top back window hydraulics no longer held up.

Rust on door frame.

General Comments:

Although this car is a little bit difficult to drive, I had it for 5 years (purchased it at 256,000km) and it paid me twice and a half for what I purchased it for. I recently sold it at 334,000km, and the "green machine" that was my Tracker is still happily putting along.

Not to mention amazing in the snow! It also was awesome for camping, and can do some minor little 4X4 work no problem. It actually impressed me in that category.

Hated the barbie mobile when I got it, loved it in the end.

1994 Chevrolet Tracker

Summary:

When I count my blessings, this car is on the list!

Faults:

I've racked my brain and can't come up with any.

General Comments:

Best little car I've ever had. Have never had any problems with this great little economy car. I replaced all belts, including timing belt at 92000 miles, as a precaution.

The only thing I would do differently is I would buy an automatic the next time, I'm tired of changing gears. But other than that, I wouldn't change a thing. This car has saved me a fortune, not only on gas, but also on up-keep.

1994 Chevrolet Tracker 2 door Convertible 1.6

Summary:

The Geo Tracker is first in its class all around

Faults:

I own a rental vehicle business in Gatlinburg, TN. I have a fleet of almost 20 of these little gems.

The amount of different drivers they each have does make them go through brake rotors once a year. Not the Geo's fault...

Plastic interior parts are easy to break.

General Comments:

These Geo's can take any beating you can dish out to them. Manual transmission has more power than automatics. Factory tops are cheaply made, but buy a Best top replacement and you are good to go. As for comfort, 4 adults can ride comfortably...

Our customers tour the Smoky Mountains in these great vehicles and get 32 or so to the gallon...

We have repeat customers every year because they get such a kick out of driving a Geo.

Sometimes they like it so much they buy it from me. If that isn't a testimonial I don't know what is.

I wish that Chevy would leave well enough alone and keep the Geo the same...

It's not broken so don't fix it!!!

Great vehicle!!!
