Summary:
A fast car that turns heads
Faults:
The radiator had several problems, it had splits, the hoses were shot, and the caps leaked.
The transmission synchros were shot, so I replaced the 4-speed with a 5-speed. Even with a million miles on it, it runs very well. It is now under complete restoration.
Replaced soft top with a hard top.
General Comments:
Always a fun car to drive, rain or shine. However, the windshield wipers don't work very well.
The seats aren't put together very well, I suggest replacing them with later Datsun Roadster seats, or with Mazda Miata seats.
This car rides like a stagecoach, aftermarket shocks should be put in, such as Koni.
