1995 Dodge Avenger ES .2.0

Summary:

Would trade it even if it didn't run

Faults:

Not much of anything. Have replaced brakes and had it serviced every 3,000 miles.

General Comments:

I love my black dodge avenger just wished I could find some Euro lights for the back.

Your title makes no sense, and the rest of the review is about as useless.

How much are you selling this car for?

Do you have any pictures of it?

1995 Dodge Avenger ES 2.5L

Summary:

The best car I have ever owned!

Faults:

The only things that I experienced wrong with this car were minor, normal wear and tear for the age and mileage on any car, except for two major thing.

A rip in the driver seat at the seam, small and insignificant.

A new radiator cap at 160K miles.

A starter around the same time.

A new distributer (you can't replace just the ignition module) at 175K miles.

A new CV drive shaft at 180K miles.

New lower ball joints on the front wheels. (which were recalled by Chrysler)

And replacement of the front pump seal on the transmission just before I sold it, at 190K miles.

General Comments:

If I hadn't joined the Air Force and had to move to Germany I would have never sold it.

I got everything I ever wanted out of this car and then some.

You can't relay expect a used car with more than a hundred thousand miles on it to be perfect. As long as it was taken care of before hand This car is an excellent choice.

The only thing I wish Chrysler had done with this car is put a 5 or 6 speed transmission in the V6 model.

I will buy another one in the future, but this time I will be modifying it to my specs. (I'm a machinist by trade)

1995 Dodge Avenger ES 2.5 V6

Summary:

A car with personality, individualism, and potential

Faults:

Since I have bought it:

-Radiator cap.

-passenger anti-lock brake wheel speed sensor.

-I go through brake pads like crazy.

-High beam relay switch.

-Windows are Difficult.

-Driver power lock.

-Thermostat.

-exhaust (flex pipes) manifold gasket, and donut gasket.

-passenger tie rod and strut.

-Horn doesn't work, and when it does its really hard to honk it.

General Comments:

Keep in mind most of these problems are past owner abuse, and don't get me wrong I love my car. I love the look, I love the speed, I love the interior.

I suggest this car be for anyone who wants a quick, good looking car that you won't see three of when you drive to the store and back. This car is one of my favorites, it was love at first sight. I was looking at cars that were supercharged but i thought, that might be a little too much power for a little girl like me. Then I met my perfect match, my avenger. There are quirks about the car that i don't like but they are just cons to the styling. For example; i love the frameless windows, but they leak, i love the high rear end, but there is a horrible blind spot, and i love the look of the front end, but the oxidised lights are a con.

I also have to say that this car isn't exactly made for performance, its like an expensive looking K-car almost, so if you buy this car looking for a porsche, you are definately not going to find it. I am proud to say i drive an avenger and i brag about it, i have turned two avid chevy lovers to avid avenger lovers!

Try and think of anothr car that has everything the avenger has and beats it out in styling and price. Exactly you can't! The Avenger is one of a kind!

Well I hope it's that good, I just bought one today, a 95, 100,532 kilometers. V6 24 valve... I like the take off so far... Hope it won't cost me a million.
