1987 Dodge D100 225 6 cyl

Summary:

Reliable and simple, too bad they got rid of the 225 6

Faults:

Fuel pump at 27,000 miles.

Alternator at 89,000 miles.

U-joints at 94,000 miles.

General Comments:

A simple to work on truck, put together well. The body has held up real well, had both door bottoms fixed for rust and that's all. Still looks great after 14 years.

It has the short box, looks sporty, starts every day on the first shot - no stalling or bucking.

Most guys buy Chevy or Ford, I bucked the trend in 87 and haven't regretted it.
