1990 Dodge Dynasty LE 3.3L V6

Summary:

An excellent silent speeder

Faults:

My radiator and alternator blew around the same time at about 55,000 miles.

I've had electrical problems such as the following: power door locks not working properly, remote trunk release works on occasion, and interior lights do not come on with switch, they only turn on when door is opened.

General Comments:

Fantastic car for the price. I purchased it for 2600 and have put under 500 into it and runs like a brand new car.

The car is easy to work on, such as I put in a new audio system into the trunk. Holes were found semi-easily to run the wires yet major placement was found to be a pain.

With the 3.3L V6 it runs about 170 horsepower at the flywheel. With the size of the car the 170 horses give no second thought when another car pulls up beside wanting to race.

Truthfully I've beaten a 2002 Eclipse and several Mustangs. Car tops out with some effort around 130-140. With speeds of over 120 with the correct tires the car has no problem driving this fast, and as of yet I've no problem with the engine exceeding these speeds.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I recommend pulling the wood trim out and applying silicone glue adhesive to the back. It will hold it on there for a pretty long time and one will have a lot less screws to look at!

My first car was a 1990 Dodge Dynasty, and yes, it was lame, but it was very reliable. The one other thing is, the car was a tank and when I wrecked it going about 20 mph, lets just say the 96 s-10 didn't stand a chance. I would recomend the car to anyone!

My first car was a 1990 Dodge Dynasty, it was great, and it would go like stink when pushed, it had a 3.0L and was great on gas, a lot better than my present '77 Lincoln.

I just bought a 1990 Dodge Dynasty LE for 300 bucks. It only has 115,000 miles on the odometer and the body is in excellent condition. I plan on replacing the stock speakers and the brake pads. Also, I think a tune up will be cool ^_^.

I drove it once and the engine is still tight. It just pulled off with no hesitation and built speed at a very deceptive rate... this thing ain't bad.

Does anyone know where I can get a door panel on the driver's side for my 92 Dodge Dynasty LE 3.3? My e-mail address is: Derral.Ferguson@robins.af.mil

I recently bought a 90 Dynasty for my daughter, and it has been a very reliable car. When I bought it, the wood trim was off the door - I bought some 3-M Trim Tape and used it to reinstall the wood trim, and it worked great!. The car has over 140K on it, and is running fine. I feel it will be a good car for us.

I bought a 1990 Chrysler/Dodge Dynasty recently, the car is awesome. Only a 100,000 km with a 3.3 litre engine. This car rides like a Caddy! Same as everyone else, the inside trim wants to fall off, but crazy glue worked great.
