Faults:
Nothing. Bullet proof.
General Comments:
Driven city and highway and idle most of the day. Very reliable, low cost to maintain. Driver's seat plastic is falling apart, as are the floor panels that cover the stow and go seats. I am also told tie rod assemblies should be watched, especially if you hit potholes etc.
The vehicle has get up and go. Chrysler had a long time to get it right, and they don't seem to have any tranny problems like in the 1990s.. Handling is predictable. No problems with doors etc. No parts failures. Original everything.
Motor does not burn oil. I do have minor leak on the rack and pinion from user abuse, but again minor.
Front motor mount has play; needs to be replaced, but not urgent.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

AIR BAG SENSOR FAILURE: While there is a recall on the airbag sensors on 2006/07 models, mine was not included. Therefore I replaced my own, following the airbag light on the dash being on for several weeks. Be sure to disconnect the negative terminal on the battery before proceeding. The sensors are located on the front sides of frame near the inner bumper.
Replace the right side first, as this is the most logical one to fail due to moisture from the roadway. If replacing the front right sensor solves the problem (dashboard light goes off), there is no need to replace the left sensor.
It is held on with 2-10mm bolts. It is an easy fix, and most owners will be able to complete it easily. The connectors are annoying, but only go on one way. It is okay to push fairly hard when pushing the connectors back on. Good luck.

Thank you for the airbag sensor info. Just got a great deal on an 06, clean, 126K and I'm the 2nd owner, all for 1900.00, and may need that info one day in case.

I am the writer of the above review on the 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. Currently at 241,000 miles and running strong. I have just replaced the left (driver's side) transmission AT mount. This repair is best performed by a repair shop. Located under the battery box. This vehicle has three mounts, but the one most likely to crack is the LEFT AT Mount. Not real expensive, but important.
This vehicle is still reliable and safe. Highly recommended, even though used the prices have gone UP, expensive used. Hopefully, you too have had a great experience with the 2006 GR. Caravan.
