2003 Dodge Ram Pickup 1500/SLT 5.7L

Summary:

Big rig looks, 20

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong up to this point.

General Comments:

The best looking truck on the road period. An eye catcher everywhere I go.

Great power with the 5.7L.

Comfort, quality, and ride are 100 times better than my previous vehicle. This is the best truck I have ever owned, hands down.

I was very skeptical about buying a Dodge because of there reliability problems in the early and late 90's. Dodge is now a totally different company. I have put 7500 miles with no problems at all.

2003 Dodge Ram Pickup SLT 5.9L turbo diesel

Summary:

This is a great truck.

Faults:

We have had no problems with this truck.

General Comments:

This is a great truck. It is our primary vehicle for the family. It has plenty of room with the quad cab and rides pretty good, for a 2500 series truck.

The truck has been very reliable. I put it to the test this winter, to see how well it would start in cold weather without being plugged in. The Cummings diesel never failed once, even in temperatures of minus fifteen degrees below zero.

Four wheel drive works great also. There were many days we would not of been able to get out to go to work without it. With the snow we had in Iowa this year we would have been in trouble without four wheel drive.

This is the most reliable truck I have ever owned and I highly recommend it.

The towing capacity of this truck with the Cummings Diesel, is very good. I have a thirty-five foot horse trailor and it pulls it with ease.

2003 Dodge Ram Pickup SLT

Summary:

A power house big on value, style and driving pleasure

Faults:

So far every thing is working very well.

General Comments:

This truck is a Gem. It is sturdy, responsive and roomy. My Ram 1500 has no problem towing my 24 foot, 6500 pound 5th wheel.

2003 Dodge Ram Pickup SLT 5.7L Hemi

Summary:

A best buy!

Faults:

Right front speaker was cutting in and out.

Truck lost power and almost stalled twice within the first 2000 miles, but has not done so since.

General Comments:

Awesome truck with loads of power!

Truck rides very smoothly and is fairly quiet. Plenty roomy with the Quad Cab--you can comfortably haul 5 or 6 adults and it is very easy to put my young child in/take them out.

This truck has amazing acceleration with or without a load. I tow a 7000 lb. 30-foot camper with no problems at all. I can easily keep up with my dad's 2500 with Cummins Turbo Diesel, and can out accelerate him from dead stops and in passing other vehicles.

Perhaps most impressive to me is the gas mileage I'm getting. I have never gotten worse that 14.5 miles per gallon, and my best has been 17.8! I typically average between 15.5 and 16 with a combination of short (less than 7 mile) trips and my daily 25 mile commute. Towing my trailer I get around 9 mpg.

For the price I paid, I don't think I could have gotten more value. If you need a great, comfortable truck that is perfect for towing, this is the truck for you.

2003 Dodge Ram Pickup SLT 5.9

Summary:

Great truck for the money

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong. Actually nothing has gone wrong on any of the three Dodge Rams I have owned in the last 8 years. I have owned a special order 1996 extended cab, a 2000 regular cab (both sports) and now a 2003 quad cab SLT. I have been very happy with all three trucks and will continue to buy Dodge products as long as they perform as well. I also own a jeep product, a 1999 Cherokee and it is just a reliable and fun to own. The wife loves it.

General Comments:

Peppy and fun to drive, wish it had the Hemi.

2003 Dodge Ram Pickup SLT/Sport 5.7 Hemi

Summary:

Great, unmatched performance if you can afford to put gas in it

Faults:

The 2003 Dodge ram 1500 Reg. Cab short bed uses a lot of gas for a smaller full size pickup.

Gets around 11 to 17 Mpg.

General Comments:

Great power not offered from any other company in the half ton pickups.

Better ride than previous dodge ram's.

Biggest full size truck on the market. Lots of storage space in the reg cab.

Has no problem towing anything, can't even tell it's there.

Great styling compared to other company's and previous Dodge's.
