Normal problem the Alternator at 125,000.
Heater Core 116,000.
Over heats don't know why/
The car has a lot of power chipped had been up too 110 mph,
Does extremly well in the snow,
Big trunk.
Does good on gas.

Worst car ever made
Cruise control didn't work from dealer.
Brake rotors and calipers were always a problem.
Heater core blew up.
Radiator kept leaking and eventually blew up.
Speedometer stopped working.
Climate control display went out.
Air conditioning stopped working.
Windshield wipers stopped working.
Radio went off when turn signal was used.
Always over heated.
Transmission had a difficult time finding the correct gear.
Crap. Crap. Crap. Came from the dealer as crap and died as crap. Worst car ever made. A lot of recalls and a lot of headaches.

Although you could not have known it in 1988 when you bought the car, the Premier (and its Dodge sister, the Monaco) are now conceded to be, well, pretty awful in terms of quality. They took the dubious distinction of having the worst used car reliability record of all time according to Consumers' Reports magazine.
All the problems you mentioned are common to these models.
I noticed, though, that you kept it for 11 years and got 200K miles out of it (which might be some kind of record) so yours must not have been that bad-?
This car is a serious deal for the money
Had to replace radiator due to rot.
Fuel pump went bad and needed to be replaced.
I drive in Manhattan a LOT. This car has serious guts and takes off like a rocket.
Handling leaves nothing to be desired, the wheels grip well around the turns and don't squeal at speed.
Interior is spacious and very comfortable.
However, with the steering wheel all the way down I have a hard time raising my foot from the gas to the brake.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

If that mileage is correct you have a future classic. Just make sure to keep an eye on the electrical system, I hear it was designed poorly for this model.
The only thing designed properly on these cars was the motor, suspension and interior. All other parts were leftover junk that Chrysler put in the car to make it complete.

Your temperature problem might be caused by a bad thermostat. Replace it and see what happens...
