1993 Ford Bronco XLT 5.7 V8

Summary:

Reliable, strong, fun truck to drive

Faults:

Rear spring mounts went; a 1500 fix that I chose not to do (salt eats away at them around here).

Heater made weird sounds.

Windshield seal leaked.

Rear window was gone when it was purchased.

Some rust, but not bad considering it is a Bronco.

Gas guzzler, but what do you expect for a 5.7?

General Comments:

Extremely strong truck.

Was amazing at towing and going off road, despite having no rear spring mounts.

Nice big truck.

Never had trouble starting.

Engine was amazing.

This truck was a beast.

Always loved these trucks.

1993 Ford Bronco XLT 5.7

Summary:

I love this truck and wouldn't give it up for the world!

Faults:

The drivers seat has worn badly due to the high step-in height.

I had to replace the starter, alternator, and the brake master cylinder. Cost me about $200 to do all 3 (parts are cheap for this vehicle).

General Comments:

Most outstanding is the turning radius--this thing can out-turn a Yugo--makes it easy to park.

I never feel cramped in this vehicle.

Plenty of room for my stuff, and my kids stuff, my neighbors stuff, and probably your stuff too!

Access to the rear seat is pretty easy, and you don't have to be a contortionist to get a car seat back there.

Performs extremely well both as a truck and as a family vehicle.

I wish it got better gas mileage. I average about 12 in the city, and about 17 on the highway.

1993 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 5.0

Summary:

A tough 4x4 ready to play without loads of modifications

Faults:

The hard top has never sealed right since taking it off the first time.

General Comments:

As a stock vehicle, this truck preforms off-road better than any four wheel drive I have owned.

1993 Ford Bronco Eddie Bauer 5.8lt 351 V8

Summary:

This is the best truck out there

Faults:

The only things I've had to replace since I've owned my bronco are brakes, a starter, drive shaft, alternator, a battery (but that was my fault), and there are some cosmetics that need replaced in the future. Oh, and tires... but having to re-shoe the beast doesn't really bother me too much.

General Comments:

I love my bronco. Wouldn't trade it for the world. I've been hit by an 18-wheeler on two separate occasions... both times not my fault, and my truck has only come out with cosmetic damage. Both times I've been fine (although a bit rattled, but physically OK) and so have the passengers in the vehicle. I take it everywhere and in 7 years I've put 140,000 miles on it.

1993 Ford Bronco XLT 321 c.i

Summary:

It does what it is suppose to do.. PERIOD

Faults:

4X4 went out close to the 90,000 mark. (rarely used then). head gasket blew around the same time. Rotors had to be replaced, switch to operate back window went out, rear window defrost does not work. blinker does not show up on dashboard when turned on until the car reaches a certain temperature. Starter and relay switch also went out once...

General Comments:

Despite all the petty stuff listed above, this truck is OFF THE HOOK. I mean it is 11 years old now... I love this thing and would definitely buy another one when this one tanks. the room inside is unmatched, its ability to handle any type of practical towing is unbelievable. Gas is a lil much (32 gallon tank) but once its filled it'll take you where you wanna go. I've slept in it many times up in the woods. haven't gotten stuck or stranded yet. If you take care of it it'll take care of you...

1993 Ford Bronco Custom 5.0L V8 302 CID

Summary:

An off-roading high performing beast of a driving machine!

Faults:

The body has rusted around the wheel wells and the tailgate too along the bottom. The oil pan is leaking slightly, but it's getting fixed in less than a week.

Its also running a little rich, and I don't know why.

Other Than those few things, nothing.

General Comments:

I absolutely love my bronco, and if something should ever happen to it I would surely buy another. I plan to keep it forever, and keep fixing it until there is nothing left!

It has very quick and smooth acceleration and rides perfectly. Sure there are a few noises typical of older vehicles, but who cares? The total room in the Bronco is 101.4 Cubic Inches and it is very roomy indeed. There is plenty of leg/head room for anyone.
