Faults:

The first thing that went wrong was in the electrical system. The horn and brake lights were not working. Apparently the horn had rotted causing the electrical failure.

The A/C worked for the first summer I had the car, but that was it. The compressor went bad after that, and I did not want to spend the money to replace it.

The car supposedly had newer brakes when I bought it, but I had to have them replaced in less than a year. The caliper on the passenger side was not working at all, which probably caused the brakes to wear out so quickly.

The spring on the passenger side was broke in half when I replaced the struts.

All of the seals went bad causing the car to leak oil from various places. Replaced around 180K.

Antenna motor is stripped.

Water pump went bad at 180K.

The car idle had needed to be adjusted frequently.

The car rust pretty bad around the wheels.

Radiator has a small leak.

General Comments:

Still get fairly good gas mileage for as many miles as the car has. Still can get around 30 mpg on mostly 70+ mph highway driving that I do.

Interior has held up very well, and looks better than many newer cars.

This car has been very reliable and has very little repairs considering the age and the mileage of the car. Beside routine maintenance, the car has very little problems. The engine still has a lot of power / acceleration too.

Faults:

After a accident, had to replace radiator.

Left light burnt out.

General Comments:

This car is one of the best cars I have ever owned. There has been little to replace as shown above. It was such a reliable car that I am giving it to my son.

Faults:

Power windows "sticking" a bit when rolled down. Problem solved with dry Teflon spray along the seals.

Concerned about the transmission.

Appears to be a slight leak at valve cover. Not major, expected for a vehicle with 125,000 miles!

General Comments:

I bought this car to get me through college. It is an attractive car, and fun to drive. Fairly comfortable considering my 6'3" height.

The mileage was a little high for my taste, but it was very well taken care of. I had it inspected by a Honda dealership, as well as a private mechanic. Both gave me the thumbs up, so I bought her!

So far, I am very pleased, but I have only owned it a week or so. I do have some concern about the automatic transmission. It does feel jerky at times. It is less jerky if I give it more gas. I'm not sure whether it is a problem, or just a characteristic of front wheel drive cars. If this is a problem, I would appreciate any feedback as to how much a replacement transmission or rebuild costs.

I got a good deal, and would like to keep the car. Again, it is very clean and looks great.

Faults:

Everything was just fine.

General Comments:

My 92 Accord Coupe is a perfect car, nothing went out, it was serviced in Honda dealer. I'm the second owner, car is really fun to drive. I've got some high performance stuff on it:

- Cold Air Intake

- Headers

- High Performance Exhaust System

- Alloy Wheels

- Tinted Windows

- Euro-Style tail lights

- Premium Stereo System

- and lots more

After I installed these parts, the car was a really nice looking one. And the performance was awesome.

Now it's one great car.
