1994 Honda Accord EX 2.2L 16v VTEC

Summary:

Perfection at its best!

Faults:

Not much has gone wrong with this car. It has had the headlights burn out about the 79000 miles. mark. The tint that comes standard with the car went wrong. It was all bubbly and a wet look to it. It cost around $150.00 to take it off all of the windows. The vacuum system of the car was ruined, but no because of a defect or something like that, but instead it was because of my lack of knowledge. I took it to windmills and dirt and rocks in that area is really high. I doubt it was made for that kind of road. It cost around $600.00 to change, but again it was my fault.

General Comments:

The car is perfect for the price. It has it all. This is luxury for its price. The leather seats are really comfortable. The overall ride is outstanding when in the city or on the highway. It perfomes really well and can beat cars that are of similar styles even though it's automatic. It can stay neck in neck with a 97' Nissan Maxima GLE. Great shifting. The sound system that it came with was great. The 6 speaker system is awesome. It sounds better than people that have changed their stock system and put "better" speakers. Every one likes the speaker sound and how they can't believe it stock. The CD player and cassette player are great. Its still the Honda CD & FM/AM Cassette. The instrument panel is also great. Wouldn't change car company like Honda. It was made for as long as you want it.

1994 Honda Accord EX 2.2L VTEC

Summary:

Near perfection at a great price!

Faults:

Mostly anything that has gone wrong with the car is the usual problems that any car might get at the mileage that this car has. Nothing has really gone wrong with my car that I would call really expensive. The leather seats are starting to a little cracked from the sun, but nothing that can't be fixed.

General Comments:

The car is really comfortable and I like everything about it, even the automatic transmission. It has a smooth ride and very low wind/tire noise. The car is not the fastest thing, and yet it can preform really well against other cars. The engine changes between gears without much hesitation. Overall it's a great car.

I picked up a 94 Accord w/154K just to use to and from work. This car is so impressive. Me being so crazy about keeping cars looking new, I replaced all calipers and did have to replace the master cylinder and booster. Other than that, this car is so nice for a 94. I cleaned the EGR ports and adjusted the valves and passed the Texas smog test with flying colors. Standard passing for NOx levels is 910, the Accord scored 46. Totally amazing. It purrs better than any new GM, Ford or Dodge and it has 160K on it. I am truly amazed on the way Honda makes a car. The ride is also nice for a small sedan. The body is spotless and everything works from cruise to the power antenna. Nice car. I'm sold on Honda's.

1994 Honda Accord DX 2.2 liter

Summary:

Nothing beats a Honda

Faults:

Contacts on solenoid starter went out at 93,000 miles. It was $30.00 to replace the part.

General Comments:

This car has been a wonderful, reliable form of transportation for our family. We have never had any problems out of this car or any other Honda we have owned in the past. They also hold their resale value. A great value for your money!
