2014 Hyundai Elantra GT 2.0
Summary:
Highly comfortable, reliable daily driver
Faults:
Really, nothing other than routine maintenance.
As the car has aged, it is pushing out oil; as the normal 5K Oil Change interval is too long, adjusted to 3K.
My car is subject to the Hyundai engine recall; so my warranty was extended to 15 years/150,000 miles. So that's a plus, they are standing behind it (fingers crossed I won't need to find out).
General Comments:
Near perfect driving position.
Bland but solid steering feel.
Engine can be a tad sluggish going up steep inclines, requiring a lot of down and up shifting.
As the car has aged, the BluLink is no longer supported (2G mobile connectivity) and the Head Unit is out dated; USB ports don't connect to modern devices. These issues can be addressed by purchasing a standalone head unit CarPlay/Android Auto unit.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Hyundai and Kia are about 10-15 years away from building great cars. But they are not there yet. And if you do buy a brand new Hyundai or Kia, be prepared to fight it out with the dealership over problems you might have. Only had a Hyundai once, and dealing with the dealership was a battle every time I went there, and not for the faint of heart. My choice now is to buy used Hondas or Toyotas; they might not be as pretty, but are just more reliable.
