2005 Infiniti FX35 3.5L

Summary:

Best performance SUV ever made! Will buy another when mine dies!

Faults:

The shift solenoid went out.

Side of the seat was torn, but had it repaired just after purchase.

Other than that, just brakes and fluid changes.

General Comments:

I have owned insane amounts of cars, and this was the first car that I financed and paid off with the intention of keeping. It will be 2 years in 2018 now, and I am still in love with my FX35. The AWD system is incredible, it handles fast corners extremely well, the hard acceleration never lets me down, it's pretty comfortable, the Bose system never disappoints, and the beautiful look. It's nearly 12 years old and people think it's new or only a few years old.

Only complaint is the screen is the old digital clock looking one, which came on the older models. They corrected in 2006 and made the color screen standard. That, and the MPG isn't the greatest, but I do drive hard so it doesn't surprise me. I average 14.6 MPG.

Had insane amount of cars before and it's the first time you pay off a 140000 miles car? Am I missing something?

Probably traded every previous one in and kept the monthly payments ongoing.

2005 Infiniti FX35 3.5

Summary:

Solid, quick, gorgeous - a great buy

Faults:

Fuel level indicator (fixed under warranty).

General Comments:

Great styling, I am always getting compliments.

The handling and responsiveness are impeccable - but I DID come from an Olds.

Don't kid yourself, the cargo room in this thing is not even close to that of a Tahoe, but then again, the Tahoe doesn't come close to the same performance.

Overall I am very happy with this vehicle. The styling and quality inside and out are very good, and you just can't beat the exhaust note.

AWD and safety features add much more confidence during Minnesota winters.

2005 Infiniti FX35

Summary:

Amazing

Faults:

Nothing so far, this has comfortable ride compared to any other SUV. It's always a head turner.

I wish I had a nav with this, and the camera when backing up, but it is a vehicle that's car like to drive and the looks.

General Comments:

It is quick, responsive, and sound of motor is perfect for a vehicle. Good job Infiniti people. Thank you.

2005 Infiniti FX35

Summary:

WOW! It's like driving for the first time

Faults:

Passenger door hinge became loose.

General Comments:

This car is simply amazing.

I love the way it drives, like a true sports car, but with all the technological advancements of today executed with precision.

The grip the tires have is incredible, especially in the rain w/the VDC on. No slip, sliding away no matter how hard I push it.

Love the higher view also.

The design is beautiful and aggressive at the same time. It draws a crowd.

Parked in front of a restaurant last I had a bunch of kids 6-8 yrs old circling the vehicle telling me they liked my spaceship, lol.

Yeah, I do to.

2005 Infiniti FX35

Summary:

The problems I am having are disappointing

Faults:

The car is pulling to the left, the dealer fixed the alignment, but it still pulls.

Also the biggest disappointment for me with this car is the feel I get from the back end when I go over bumps; it feels as if I went over something slippery if I am going 65+, and when that happens, it's a real bad feeling; it's almost to the point as if I am going to lose control of the vehicle.

General Comments:

This car is a good look on the streets, and can run real well.

The seat are real comfortable for long rides.

What's probably even more disappointing is the fact that the FX35 is an overpriced Nissan Murano with an Infiniti badge. Love the exhaust sound though.

I wouldn't mind a bit IF it's over priced (Which it's not). I love Infiniti. I have a 1998 Infiniti, golden... and I get more noticed than a 03 Lexus RX330. The Infiniti just has this rugged, sport, smooth looks that just can't be beaten. True work of craftsmanship.
