2014 Jeep Wrangler Sport 3.6

Faults:

Nothing. All is well, however I have noticed some oil consumption. The manual says this is normal for the first few thousand kilometers.

General Comments:

I am still very pleased with my purchase and I have enjoyed driving it around this summer. The ride can be punishing, but that is what you get with a short wheel base vehicle with two solid axles.

Please keep us up to date with the oil consumption issue.

As I approach 10,000km, I still love my Jeep. Nothing has gone wrong so far and I have been to the dealer only once for an oil change. Oil consumption does not seem to be an issue at the moment, but around the 5000km mark I did notice being a litre down when I started doing plenty of wide open throttle accelerations. Driving normally seems to result in no noticeable oil consumption. The plastic windows of my convertible top are showing some scratches, but that is expected as you remove and reinstall them.

Summary:

Great fun at a good price

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

Great fun to drive, both in the sun and in the snow.

Zero defects so far, and I hope I have no issues anytime soon. Seems to be well put together, and not being a new model helps, since the bugs have been worked out.

One of the cheapest convertibles you can buy, with the bonus that it can handle Montreal's devastated potholed streets with aplomb.

I believe this is what the mayors of the city also drive - a must.
