2003 Kia Sedona EX 3.5-liter, 24-valve, DOHC V6 engine

Summary:

I would highly recommend this vehicle

Faults:

I researched this minivan extensively; as well as, compared it to various other minivans. Considering all of the choices out there, I couldn't have been more pleased with my choice. There have been no problems with the vehicle.

General Comments:

After weighing my options, I couldn't have made a better decision. This nicely loaded EX has all the extras. It handles wonderfully in all conditions and is extremely comfortable. I would highly recommend this vehicle to anyone searching for a minivan. When comparing the options to other minivans, the Sedona beats them all hands-down! Safety, Ride, Comfort, Looks, and most importantly Price!!! I purchased this loaded Brand New Loaded Sedona for an even $20,000. This is the total delivery price. Wow, do I need to say more!

I just purchased the KIA Sedona EX on April 9th and love it. My husband and I got it for 20,400 out of the door so I don't think that is a bad price including taxes and tags.

I have really researched this vehicle and the price and the warranty really worked great for us.

It's been a little over two years since the both of you posted your reviews. Are you still enamored with your Sedonas or has the test of time jaded your opinions?

I'd be interested in hearing what you have to say.

2003 Kia Sedona EX 3.5L

Summary:

Good vehicle for the money with a great warranty and 5-star safety rating

Faults:

Our Sedona EX is only three weeks old. So far nothing has gone wrong with the vehicle. I have heard complaints on this and other boards concerning the A/C going out after a while as well as it going through brake pads moreso than with other vehicles. I'll see if that happens with ours.

General Comments:

Nice minivan. This is our first minivan, and we did a lot of comparison shopping before purchasing it. We got the thing loaded with everything possible, including a DVD system. Unfortunately, they have STILL not put it in yet. They ordered the wrong one (black instead of grey), so we are waiting for it to come in. I prefer Toyotas for their reliability, but the Sedona had a 5-star safety rating and the warranty was unbeatable - plus the Sienna's BASE price was about $3,000 more than we paid for our fully-loaded Sedona. The 2nd and 3rd row seats are a pain to get out and are VERY heavy, so we won't be taking them out much. The car rides smooth, but the gas mileage sucks. Our salesman seemed new and was not very knowledgeable about the vehicle, so the purchasing process was a bit bumpy to say the least. All-n-all, though, it appears to be a great vehicle. I just hope we don't run inot problems as other people here have.
