2005 Lexus LS 430

Summary:

Absolutely outstanding automobile

Faults:

Nothing yet.

General Comments:

Have looked at these cars for several years, and after reading all the reviews, decided to pull the trigger on one that was too good a deal to pass up.

After 1 month and 3k miles, all I can say is that this a truly outstanding automobile. Sitting in the car, you can tell the detail and high quality of materials that went in to its engineering, not to mention the technology. I seem to discover a new tech ability it has every day. At highway speeds, the car is whisper quiet, and the Mark Levinson sound system is absolutely incredible.

We just took a 400 mile road trip, and averaged 27.3 mpg on the highway!

Every once in a while, a car company makes an exceptional vehicle that is ahead of its time, that is better built than cars proceeding it. Mercedes did with their 560SEL. This Lexus LS 430 I believe will be one of these vehicles. I hope to have it for a very long time!

An update on this review. Now after 15k miles and 8 months with ZERO problems at almost 70k miles. A truly incredible automobile.

These must be the most hyped cars out there. If you think you will not have costly problems with them, think twice. Don't always believe what owners say, read the forums https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls-4th-gen-2007-2017/730224-ls460-abs-vsc-system-problem-3.html

All cars, Lexus included, will have problems. The thing about Lexus is, now often you will encounter them. That's why even in UK surveys it sits atop the reliability surveys. Lexus today is what Mercedes used to be a few decades ago.

2005 Lexus LS 430 Ultimate Package

Summary:

The King of the big Japanese luxury cars

Faults:

Nothing!

General Comments:

My 1999 silver LS400 was a super car, but this LS430 one ices the cake. It's an ivory color, and has every imaginable feature you could ever want in a Japanese luxury car. I'm a cardiologist, and have been a LS fan since they came out. As for my LS430, I must admit that I love it to death! What is there not to like about this car? Nothing! It's so quiet, ever so comfortable (it's got the top of the line rear seating package), so powerful, and is perfect for those pleasure trips. Trust me, no matter how much it costs, these cars are worth every penny. These cars are great not only for doctors like me, but also for lawyers and corporate executives. No wonder they're popular!

So, if you're in the market for a Japanese luxury car, but don't mind the price of one of these cars, please go to your Lexus dealer and test drive one of these babies. All it will take for you to buy one is one test drive. Trust me, you'll adore it like I do to mine.

I made the mistake of buying a Mercedes. My parents recently bought a LS430 and the car is amazing. I will be selling my Mercedes in a few months to buy one of these amazing cars.

You obviously have never driven an S500 lately, truly remarkable.

I like the styling of the latest LS, simply because they pretty much copied the W140 series S-Class from '92-'99.

Yep, it's the sincerest form of flattery.
