2006 Lincoln Navigator Ultimate 4x4 5.4L 3V V8

Summary:

Very nice ride, comfort all the way

Faults:

Load leveling sensor gone out twice, once at 6000 and again at 12000, same side same sensor.

Replaced the transmission shifter, had a grinding noise at 12000 come to find it had two coins in the supposedly sealed unit.

General Comments:

Other than a couple of really minor problems, very comfortable ride, great audio, video factory system, GPS has got me unlost a couple of times.

2006 Lincoln Navigator Ultimate unsure

Summary:

Lincoln, keep on making these things. I love my Navigator to death!!

Faults:

Not one thing has gone wrong with it.

General Comments:

This is our 5th Navigator, and all have had the 4 wheel drive. We had the 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, and now have this one. All of our Navigator's were black ones, and so is this one, and all have had black leather interiors, and so does this one.

As you can tell, we are diehard fans of the Navigator, and that means a lot. Their styling is just classy.

Space? The Navigator has loads of that! Ours has the power folding 3rd row seat, and so did our 2004 model. There is so much space in these vehicles that they are easily identified as family haulers. We use ours to transport our kids to school and for shopping and for work. I am a lawyer, and I need the room to transport my clients to court, and they do so in style.

Here in the Poconos of Pennsylvania, you must have a 4 wheel drive vehicle for the snow that we get each year. The Navigator goes through snow ever so easily, that it begs to be driven in the snow.

It rides so beautifully on the road, and in Lincoln fashion. That is why I will always be drwan to buying these vehicles. So be it for gas prices. These make up for it in style, luxury, roominess, and space.

So if you are seriously in the market for a Navigator, go to your nearest Lincoln Mercury dealer and test drive one. You will be like me, and be a loyal fan of them. I just love my Navigator!!

Lincoln didn't make black interiors on first gen Navigators. Just tan or grey.

I think the new grille treatment that came out around 2006 is pretty strange looking. It just is over the top, and looks out of place with the rest of the vehicle.

My mom has driven Lincolns since 1984. All of hers have been totally flawless and 100% trouble-free. Some of our family have driven Mercedes E-class and 5-series BMW's, but in overall ride quality and reliability, none have come close to the luxurious Lincolns.
