2006 Mercury Milan Premier V6
This car is very competitive in price and features against all other vehicles
I have had cosmetic problems with the inside door locks (passenger side front & rear). The lock part of the door has broken on the very tip toward the seat and caused the release lever to not close using autolocks on key and doors. It is a small plastic piece that contains the spring part of the lock mechanism. I need to manually push the lock and release to lock the door.
Other than this all is well.
I purchased this vehicle after seeing it during a search for another vehicle type. I only sat in it at first and was extremely impressed with the fit and function.
This Milan has the whole package (sunroof, traction, autoclimate, heated seats, premium sound, etc...) and it was under $12.5K. What a steal.
After 10 months I couldn't be happier. I was looking for a manual vehicle, but this six speed automatic responds well and has plenty of punch when you get on it.
The mileage is good for this size vehicle rating at 24+ MPG combined.
Handling is very good with independent suspension all around.
I have traveled far and near with ease and comfort. This is the best vehicle I've owned yet and I've owned a base model 318BMW (1985) and a Cadillac Fleetwood (1981).
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
