2006 Nissan Altima 2.5S 2.5 S

Summary:

I would definitely buy again

Faults:

So far so good- no complaints.

General Comments:

Love my Altima, it is only a 4 cylinder, but I am amazed at the pick-up that it has. I recently went on the highway with it on a long trip. I was pleasantly surprised that the 18 wheelers did not knock me off of the road. My Altima held it's own, and I did not have to struggle to keep from being pulled in by wind sheer.

2006 Nissan Altima 2.5S 2.5

Faults:

Headlight assembly recalled and fixed N/C by dealer.

General Comments:

Bought car new in August 2002. We had the dealer add leather and woodgrain dash to jazz it up. We drive the heck out of it. Currently at 134,000. It's been great reliability wise. As far as gas mileage it gets 27 mpg all the time. The dealer Courtesy Nissan in Richardson, TX has always been great. We have owned Nissan's for the last 5 vehicles. Dislikes? I think it is noisy inside, lots of road noise.I've tried using different tires no change. Other than that it's been flawless!!!My wife drives mostly, but she wants another one.

2006 Nissan Altima

Summary:

No negatives at this time

General Comments:

I love my Altima, The style is sporty and does not look cheap. The room in the back seat is great and no one feels cramped. I love the look of the Automatic stick and the way you have to go through the puzzle to change gears. I feel like I will keep this car for a very long time.

2006 Nissan Altima 2.5

Summary:

I would buy this care over again

General Comments:

I have just purchased a 2006 SE 2.5 Altima- I only have 1000 miles on it, but I had a 2002 Pathfinder which gave me no problems at all, which is why I returned to the Nissan dealer.

Upon choosing a new car, the Altima styling is what attached me. I love the dash and the exterior style.

I feel like the salesman was more than honest with me in stating that the Altima did have a few problems with the Rings on the engine, but this has been resolved.

The 4 cylinder engine has plenty of pick up and go and for city driving that is all that I need. I hope the Altima gives us the same service and enjoyment that the Pathfinder did.

Congrats on your new found joy! I had an Altima 2.5SE for a long weekend and found that car to be a blast to drive. Compared to other cars in it's class, it blows them all away in both looks and power. Notice the high torque for a 4-banger? No mods needed there since it's all stock! Since I was used to other cars in it's class with less power, the tires kept squealing every time I hit the gas a little too hard. But I got used to the extra power it had.

2006 Nissan Altima Special Edition 2.5

Summary:

Great

Faults:

Zero problems.

Drove off the car lot, never to return.

General Comments:

Arm rest in the front middle seat is a little too far back. Otherwise the layout is fine.

Great response for 4 cylinder 2.5 and the size of the car.

No regrets.

2006 Nissan Altima SE 3.5

Summary:

Awesome

General Comments:

I purchased a 06 Altima because I needed the 4 door due to being pregnant.

The rear doors are big and easy to get a child in and out of. The car handles great. We had sleet and snow last week and it handled like it was on dry pavement. Being a home health nurse and getting in and out of my care all day it is easy to get in and out of and has lots of trunk space.

The gas mileage is OK. 20 in city and 29 highway. Driving in the city I have been about 20 mph. But as soon as I get onto the highway the mileage increases considerably.

I would recommend this vehicle to buy...

Enjoy.
