Peppy and reliable, but horrible on gas come winter

It eats tires, but otherwise nothing, but I like changes.
General Comments:
I’m 6’2 and the car is plenty roomy inside for me, though on several hundred mile, multi state road trips it gets uncomfortable due to the seats just not being the best. But it’s an economy car so what do you expect.
The 2 liter 4 banger is surprisingly peppy and has no problem doing 85-90 without even realizing it (in Mexico I mean). My main problem with the car is the laughably bad gas mileage in winter for such a small vehicle. My first car was a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis at 16 years old, nearly 18 years ago now, so she was an old worn out boat when I got it, and I used to get about 20 miles per gallon in that boat loaded with people and kegs of… Mountain Dew. This car, in the summer gets around 24 miles per gallon at 60 miles an hour with the air off, but come winter time… I’m lucky to get 15-16 miles per gallon. The standard size Rogue is rated for better fuel economy somehow, and I can confirm having had a 2017 Rogue before; I was forced to get this due to my lease mileage, my 2017 used to get around 30 miles per gallon with far more interior room and comfort.
All in all, I’d recommend the Rogue Sport if you’re single or without kids, but for families, just go with the bigger Rogue.

I own the bigger Rogue, a 2015; with 28,000 miles, no problems with a thing. Before I drove a 2007 Altima 8 years before getting the Rogue, I am single not married / no kids average 31.8 mpg (mostly highway), it handles well on the road, got enough power with 2.5 liters under a 170-horsepower engine, the ride is smooth like riding on a white cloud, not going lie. The car is very reliable; did nothing but maintenance as is recommended; oil changes and fluids.
Really like the car. Also like the Rogue Sport that was introduced 5 years ago. These vehicles are reliable, believe the mid-2010 Nissan's were below the average including CVT that is problematic for the brand. Other than that my bigger Rogue is dependable, good on gas mileage and runs like new. I did use the eco mode on saving fuel when I first got it; now since it still gets good gas mileage I don't use it anymore.
