2011 Nissan Sentra
Nothing as this was a rental.
We rented this car on a week long trip to Hawaii. For the most part I found the car to be decent with fairly good fuel economy, performance, and comfort. The styling to me at least is a bit bland and anonymous. The interior was well laid out. Unlike a lot of new cars I've driven more recently, I had no problem figuring out where the controls were. All of it was very intuitive. The stereo was very good - in fact perhaps better than some of the more pricey cars I've driven. A nice, solid sound with great bass.
The engine was a bit loud during hard acceleration. Definitely more "gutsy" and quicker than a lot of 4 cylinder engines. It also had halfway decent handling.
The interior was comfortable and roomy. The trunk was surprisingly large, and able to accommodate all of our luggage easily. The interior materials were sort of cheap and overly plasticy looking. But it wasn't bad either. I wouldn't expect a high level of refinement on an entry level car, so for all practical purposes, the interior on this car was decent.
I'm not sure what the fuel economy actually was on the car, but we only had to add a few gallons during the whole trip. I'm guessing it was getting close to 35MPG.
Overall, I think it was a decent car for the money, and perfectly adequate for everyday commuting.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
