1982 Peugeot 505 S XDS2 turbo diesel
Summary:
Safe, reliable and comfortable transportation that no one else has!
Faults:
My car has traveled less than 6 miles per day since new.
Maybe considered the lowest mileage turbo diesel in the states. Has become a modern classic, and is becoming an extinct model in the USA.
General Comments:
One of the safest and most dependable Peugeot models ever built. How many 28 year old cars would you trust on a journey across the states without hesitation?
This is not my first owned 505.

My mom handed me down a 505 as my first car. Loved it to death. It was like a very attractive best friend, made out of iron, that moved quickly (it was a turbo). No subsequent cars I've had (Saabs, Volvos, BMW's) have been as indestructible. The cars that came closest were (German made) VW's.
