2002 Pontiac Grand Prix SE

Summary:

Until the $450 front end problem, it was a pleasure to own

Faults:

Just had the front end aligned and replaced two badly worn front tires as a result of the misalignment. Replaced front "hub kit" under warranty 8 months ago, but the alignment was my fault I was told." Regular service and tire rotation, but dealer did not notice tire wear? 11000 miles on front tires? How about some consideration.

General Comments:

Great looking car. Wide stance or profile is very nice.

Interior extras such as power driver's seat, vanity lights are nice.

It is a larger version of the Grand Am model for not much more money, if any.

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix SE 3.1

Summary:

The best driving car I have ever owned!

Faults:

The clip that locks the seat belt retrieve in place broke off.

General Comments:

This car has plenty of leg room. The amount of space in front is even more than I need. This is something that I generally don't find in other vehicles.

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP 3.8 Supercharged

Summary:

Great car!

Faults:

Absolutely no problems to date with this car!

General Comments:

I previously owned a 2000 Grand Prix and never had any problems with it. It was later totaled in a major accident and had no reservations about buying another one. The fact that this car is so reliable made it that easy to buy another one.

2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 3.8 V6

Summary:

Sporty, stylish, and room for everyone!

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong with the Grand Prix.

General Comments:

For the money, this car is a great deal. It looks great, and has decent performance for a car of it's size.

You can easily fit 4 other adults in the car, and the trunk is large enough for everyone's luggage.

The 3.8L V6 offers decent performance, and it is silky smooth and quiet throughout the RPM range.

The window sticker claimed 29 mile per gallon for the highway, but I have yet to come close to that number. I think 22/23 miles per gallon on the highway is more accurate.
