1991 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 Targa 3.6L Gasoline

Summary:

One wears this car rather than driving it

Faults:

Distributor Drive Belt broke due to O3 (Ozone) in the distributor. I replaced the belt and fabricated a venting manifold much like the Porsche Factory Fix.

I also had a problem with the (DME) /Fuel Pump Relay. The engine would shut off while driving. Low current relays don't tend to shed the carbon and dust. Cleaned the points with a strip of paper and some solvent. The engine has run well without fail.

General Comments:

I really enjoy the power and the confidence the car give me while on the open road. The car tracks well and is very predicable.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
