2007 SAAB 9-5 Aero Wagon 2.3t

Summary:

I love the night panel and the key location, as they are a really smart feature to have

Faults:

Things that went wrong are a light malfunction with the xenon light system; should be costly like most parts on the car; I didn't look into it yet.

Plastic on the side of the seats where the seat controls are breaks easily, so really don't put any weight on it at all!!

The cup holder sticks, and comes down almost never.

General Comments:

This is a hands on car, which I would put in the maintenance section of German and American cars. You need to have a trusty mechanic on hand to get a car like this, seeing as every part is close to $500 bucks it seems.

Other than that, I'm overall happy, because of course I didn't buy it brand new, so I got a great deal, and this is my second SAAB, so I would... and did buy it again, knowing the issues I may have.

2007 SAAB 9-5 Aero 2.3 turbo

Summary:

Great, reliable, and fun to drive

Faults:

Nothing wrong so far.

General Comments:

We bought this 2007 Saab 9-5 Aero to replace a 1999 Saab 9-3 that had 160,000 miles on it. We love this Saab 9-5. It is comfortable and reliable. The ride is great and the turbo engine has plenty of power.

We love the heated front and rear seats. The car is only missing the cooled seats, but we love all of the options in it.

The fuel economy is great, I get about 33 mpg on the highway with the cruise set at 74 mph. Great car. NO regrets.

Me too! Mine is a late 08. It replaced a 200k 01 95. Prior to that, a 91 9000T,300k! And a 86 9000, 190K. And many 96s, 95s 900s and 93s. This one is the best, and it has cooled seats!
