2014 Toyota 4Runner Trail Edition Premium 4.0 V6

Summary:

Luxury with unbelievable off road capability

Faults:

None - it's brand new.

General Comments:

These new 4Runners are amazingly comfortable. The Trail Premium is loaded (leather/nav/Entune/Home Link/sat/heated seats/sunroof/and many other things!). The thing that sold me was it comes with everything on it i.e... roof rack and towing package. If you buy a crossover, they nickel and dime you for add-ons.

I bought the 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and after about 8 months I realized I missed my old 4Runner. I had a 2004 4Runner and absolutely loved it. The Jeep is exactly what it looks like - boxy, off road worthy, but not great for every day driving with the family. Road trips in the back seat are very uncomfortable. I had 32 inch tires on the Jeep and averaged 18 MPG on my best day. The 4Runner is getting me between 21-23 MPG, which is pretty good in my eyes. I have kayaks and a 16 month old son, so having a do-it-all vehicle is a must.

The new exterior looks on the 4Runner are different, but I love the looks of it. And the interior is very Lexus-like.

There are many choices today as far as SUVs go, but the 4Runner is the best option for my needs.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
