Summary:
Overall good vehicle, questionable reliability
Faults:
Engine developed a very audible piston slap around 35K. Sounds like a diesel engine, and the dealer claims that it is normal. This appears to be a very common problem on these engines. Look up "Toyota 3.5L piston slap" on google before you spend your money on a vehicle with a 2GR-FE.
General Comments:
Comfortable car with a good ride. Tows 5000Lbs. It would have been perfect if it was as reliable as the older Toyotas.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
