1990 Toyota Landcruiser 3F-E

Summary:

Best vehicle in its class

Faults:

VERY few.

Other than normal maintenance (plugs, filters, shocks, etc), the only things that are not original are the thermostat and alternator (at 149,000).

General Comments:

Best I've owned. Intend to put another 150,000 miles on it. At 10 years old, it is worth much more than my wife's 5 year old Grand Cherokee.

Off road abilities can't even be challenged by today's SUV.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I have a '90 Landcruiser with over 260,000 miles, still going strong, original transmission too. It's unbelievable! Daily use, over 100 miles a day stop and go, freeway, in LA no less...

I love my Land Cruiser, great looks and great reliability. I just have to laugh at the people who pay so much more for a new SUV. My 91 Landcruiser will outperform the best on or off the road. My only negative is the 4.0 liter V6 is very underpowered.
