2004 Toyota Sienna xle 3.8?

Summary:

I still like the car

Faults:

Have had to replace brakes every 12,000 miles.

Gasket on the back Driver side window is working itself out.

General Comments:

Front windshield should have wider tint at the top and maybe some at the bottom. The windshield is a mighty big magnifying glass on a hot summer's day.

2004 Toyota Sienna LE 3.3 V6

Summary:

This is the best van on the road today

Faults:

I have had no problems of any kind with my new Sienna LE.

General Comments:

This is the finest vehicle I have ever owned, including a Lincoln Town Car of the land-yacht era.

It has a solid, reliable feel, extremely smooth ride and is a joy to drive. It offers plenty of power at all speeds, good fuel economy and the five speed automatic transmission is silky and seamless. The ride improves with a heavier load. Everything fits very tightly. There are no rattles or squeaks and wind noise is minimal for such a large vehicle.

Visibility is excellent and the tinted glass keeps the interior cool at all times.

I found it to be competitively priced with the big three US manufacturers, but they could not match the reliability factor that this van offers.

The seats fit in all the right places and we enjoy the fold-away third seat plus the extra storage capacity when it is in use.

The van has an abundance of cup holders and storage compartments.

For Canadian winters I think I will regret not ordering the AWD. I have a feeling the Michelin tires that came with the vehicle are not top-of-the-line. They seem to lose grip on wet payment too easily and squeal too readily on hot asphalt roadways.

I would highly recommend this vehicle for anyone considering a van. If money is not an issue, go for the XLE edition. The 17" wheels, sunroof, leather interior and radar-controlled cruise can only add to the performance and convenience of this great vehicle. Still priced well below the Chrysler T & C.

Read the reviews on all Siennas with All Wheel Drive, run flat tires. Every owner is complaining about the expense of the run flat tires.

2004 Toyota Sienna No Designation 3.6

Summary:

A great family van bargain!!!

Faults:

My only complaint is that the third row of seats doesn't have much room.

General Comments:

This care handles like a dream.

It's a little more expensive than other minivans on the market it's worth it.

Dollar for dollar it out does anything else on the market today.

The seats are so easy to move and fold down. It all happens with just a pull of a strap.

I was also impressed with all the features that came standard on the Sienna, compared to other minivans where you have to pay extra for those features.

2004 Toyota Sienna LE

Summary:

A little pricey, but a quality car that should last

Faults:

Poor acceleration when you need it. There was a 3 sec pause when floored. The computer needed to be adjusted.

General Comments:

This vehicle gets hot. We didn't have the windows tinted by the dealership and the AC just can't keep it cool. We had a after market detail shop put on film, but they did such a bad job I had them remove it and refund the money. Ensure you get tinting.

The Trunk opens easy as the salesman showed us. But it closes hard. My wife is short and has a hard time closing it.

All in all its very quiet inside, has a excellent ride and makes a 12 hours trip easy on the back and nerves.

All Sienna LE's come with tinted windows in the back, sounds like you are driving a CE.

2004 Toyota Sienna LX 8 pass 6 cylinder

Summary:

A top-notch family ride

Faults:

Christmas tree clip came out of wheel liner causing it to drag on the tire.

Wore a hole through the liner. Dealer replaced.

General Comments:

Gas mileage is less than I really would like, but performs substantially better on 93 octane.

Fantastic as far a minivans go for handling and ride.

Made in America, unlike the Dodge and Chrysler!!

I researched every minivan on the market on the Honda had the same level of American made content. Also reviewed the Kia (good for the money, but will not last). Thsi van has anything you could possibly want in a van.

Great crash test, with Toyota reliability and Lexus V6 power.
