2002 Toyota Supra Mk IV RZ 2JZ-GTE I6 Twin turbo'd Six Speed

Summary:

Amazing, elegant, blissful and recommended to all

Faults:

The only thing that I've had to replace was the brake pads, oil, fluids, spark plugs etc., and that wasn't even because they stopped working, just cause I wanted to. The car has never broke down, and probably never will.

General Comments:

Everything in this car is nice, the speakers it came with were actually very loud, crisp and clear, and the transmission and clutch are a dream. Driving this thing gives you a sense of peace and attraction, no matter who you are. The handling is possibly the best in any car I've ever driven, the power is immediate and it's very quiet at low speeds.

I don't have anything bad to say about this car, I used to hate Japanese made cars, until I bought my first 1985 Toyota Supra, and even that had more balls than any Ford or Chrysler I drove (even fresh off the market new ones)

My only qualms about the car is it could actually use a back seat, not that I carry lots of people in my car, but it would be nice to be able to have a 2+2 seater car, that could actually seat four, instead of just 3, comfortably anyway.

Other than that, worth $26,000 easily, only paid half that.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

How can you drive a 2002 Toyota Supra? It has to be 15 years old to import.

Check your facts - this is NOT correct. SEVS allows for the import of newer vehicles.

I don't think they handle that great, compared to some other Japanese imports available.

The big engine and generally big design lets it down sometimes... but still, the 2JZ engine is by far the BEST EVER ENGINE available in a production car! It is a very strong engine, internals almost never need touching! Just whack a turbo on it and it deals with it! :) People used to think the RB engines from Skylines were best, because the Skyline was such a great car, but it's now known that the ultimate weapon is a R32 Skyline with twin turbo 2JZ-GTE. ;)

I want to find myself a cheap 2JZ engine and drop it a something stupid, say... a datto 120y? Power-weight = ROARR!
