1964 Ford Mustang HT 260 V8
Summary:
Great fun, regret selling it
Faults:
This is a veteran car, did various things to keep it running:
Carburetor rebuild.
Distributor rebuild.
Master cylinder.
Brake overhaul.
New shocks.
Various suspension parts.
Rear exhaust muffler.
New heater core.
Transmission band adjustment.
Welded floor rust and rust in quarter panel.
Partly respray of welded parts.
New seat belts.
General Comments:
Very simple to work on. Reliability if you fix the basics. It was my summertime transport over almost 10 years. Had to sell for financial reasons, needed the money for a house extension and larger family. A little small as a family car. Great fun to drive and own. Mileage stated is uncertain, was imported to Norway in the 90ies from Florida/USA with unknown history besides being sold new in Jacksonville June 1964.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
