1980 Plymouth Champ Hatchback 1.4

Summary:

Awesome

Faults:

Absolutely nothing! Over the years rust was the only handicap on this car over a 15 year period.

General Comments:

This car was great in every aspect. The 1.4 litre engine was eager to rev, making it fun to drive. It had a 4 speed with a power and economy level which at the time for more power, the car was a blast. Fuel economy was rated from 35 to 42 and it always delivered until the day I sold it. Great value; it cost $4200 new and I sold it for $1200 fifteen years later.

Great cars - enjoy :)

1979 Plymouth Champ 1.4L

Summary:

It's a little wonder

Faults:

The car is inside a time capsule. That tiny Champ has only about 29,000 miles. The only problem was the carbulator choke that stuck open because of the lack of driving. That was fixed last year.

General Comments:

That little car was easy to drive and maintain.

It consumes just a little gas.
