2009 Mazda 3 1.6 turbo diesel

Summary:

Good looking, safe daily driver

Faults:

DPF filter and EGR valve, both cleaned.

Battery.

Button to open the boot broke (I assume corrosion).

General Comments:

A very stylish car; curvy and looks mean

Interior is comfortable for the driver and passenger; less room in the back.

Boot is very large and usable. I love the interior's flowing lines, the many screens and the intuitiveness, as well as little details (flashing blue details when changing the volume up or down). The seating position is comfortable and with good visibility, although the windscreen could be bigger. Easy to maneuver.

The suspension is firm, but not sporty; it handles small winding roads and highways with the same ease, but potholes are felt. The engine, while very frugal, still has enough power when needed, and has proven to be extremely reliable.
