2000 Volkswagen Lupo 3L TDi 1.2 turbo diesel
Summary:
Good idea, but bad built
Faults:
Front right bearing broken, Front left bearing changed by previous owner.
Plastics from front bumpers lost.
Six months to locate a protector of the cup-holder.
Gear box broken with 90.000 km. 3000 euros to repair it.
General Comments:
The car would be a bargain if it were more reliable. With 30 liters of gas-oil can do more than 600 km at normal speed.
With 4 years of use, the car need to be reviewed completely, nothing goes fine.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Finally, I have been pushed to sell it. Problems with ABS, gearbox and other minors ones. I have tried to resolve the ABS problem, but after 1250 Euros it doesn't work properly.
Finally I have to claim to Volkswagen not to create another car like this.
